The Golden Virgins first ever music video is being played on MTV2 this week
and you can vote to get to see it more and maybe get it into the MTV2/NME
chart. The promo video is for our next single "Renaissance kid" which is
going to be released by XL Recordings on 27th September.

which runs from 27th-30th August set
in a beautiful garden with a river
and lake.. It features Live Bands,
DJ's, Food Stalls, Giant Hammocks,
Fishing, Snail Racing, Tree Houses,

The Golden Virgins will have an XFM
Radio session Broadcast this Thursday
28th August from 9PM onwards. We have
pre-recorded 3 songs (played live)

On July 26th XL Recordings will be
releasing the first single proper
from The Golden Virgins debut album
"Songs of praise".
"Light in her window" is being released
on CD single and 7" vinyl.
The B-Sides are:
CD single: 1.'Staying Sober' (the original demo version as featured on the Rex Records 7" 'I've Seen The Light' {Rekd22s}) and 2. 'Sleep With Me Tonight' (home demo version)

To celebrate this release The Golden Virgins are going to be headlining a show at the London Camden Barfly on Wednesday 4th August.

Television Virgins
The Golden Virgins are all set to lose
their TV virginity. The band have been
asked to perform on a BBC 3 show thats
called GLASTONBURY CALLING and is hosted
by Colin Murray & Edith Bowman. The
show goes out on Thursday 17th of June
at 8pm and the band will be performing
"Light in her window" live. The programme
is also broadcast live!!
Leeds & Reading festivals confirmed
The Virgins can confirm that they
have been booked to play this years
Leeds & Reading festivals. They will
be playing Leeds on Friday 27th August
and Reading on Sunday 29th August.
Cant wait! Times and stages will be
confirmed later.
Glastonbury Virgins
The Golden Virgins can confirm that they will be playing at this years Glastonbury Festival. We will be playing in the New Bands Tent on Sunday 27th June, 1.05pm - 1.35pm.
Album Release
"Songs of Praise", the debut album, from The Golden Virgins is going to be released by XL Records/Rex Records on May 31st 2004. The album is going to be available on CD and 12" Vinyl.
May Tour
A UK tour has been lined up to celebrate
the launch of our debut album. See the gigs page for the dates we have confirmed so

T- IN THE PARK
The Golden Virgins are going to be playing at this years T - in the park festival at Balado near Kinross in Scotland. The festival is taking place on the 10th and 11th of July. We will be playing in the X Tent on Sunday 11th July, 1.35pm - 2.05pm.
